Two Apartments in Kea

The island of Kea, one of the Cyclades Islands, is one of the fastest to access from Athens by ship. The trip from the port of Lavrion doesn’t take more than an hour.

According to our client’s wish we remodeled these two summer apartments, to be also used during the colder period of the year.

In this project we pursued the goal of a unification of the feel of the apartments’ spaces: changing the patchwork of colours and materials we found, into a new, harmonious arrangement.

Both apartments feature open plan kitchens with a light grey tone combined with oak veneer. We covered the floors with a single type of 45x90cm tiles and installed electric heating panels that can be switched on and off individually.
